#Frequently asked questions

Bamboo is the fastest growing plant on the planet

Bamboo can grow 91 cm (3 ft) within a 24-hour period, at a rate of almost 4 cm (1.5 in) an hour (a growth around 1 mm every 90 seconds, or one inch every 40 minutes), which makes Bamboo the fastest growing plant on the planet! This is why we use it to make NO ISSUES sustainable, eco-friendly products. Re-planting bamboo is fairly easy thanks to the swift growth rate of the plant. The spreading root structure allows one rootstock to produce several shoots, permitting horizontal growth.

What makes No Issues better than other competitors?
NO ISSUES are made 100% TREE FREE from soft and strong bamboo fibres. Bamboo is a grass which is sustainable and renewable unlike trees. All boxes and cardboard rolls are made from recycled cardboard, so no new trees were harmed in the making of our products! Plus, our designs are made for modern households, and honestly, we think they are sexy AF!
Why would I buy NO ISSUES over normal tissues?
We are the most eco friendly tissue on the market. Yep, we are even better than competitors who use recycled tissues, as we use NO TREES in our tissues at all. We use biodegradable plastic (when we have to use plastic) and there is no plastic on our cube boxes. We are currently researching new ways to replace any plastic wrap with compostable materials! Watch out for some exciting news on that front!
Are No Issues tissues more expensive than other brands?
Nah! We always try to make sure we stay competitive. We're very passionate about making sure sexy, environmental choices are accessible to everyone!
What are your products made from?
Bamboo, baby! All our tissue products are 100% Bamboo. Our boxes and cardboard rolls are made from 100% recycled cardboard, and what (very) little plastic we use is recyclable. Our Award Winning, first to market REUSE, REFILL, RECYCLE Toilet Paper bag is resealable, reusable, which eliminates single use plastic and reduces landfill, and recyclable! It's made from the same stuff as your milk bottles, so once you can't use it anymore, throw it in your yellow bin!
Where is your bamboo from?
Straight from the source! Thailand and China, where Bamboo has the perfect conditions to thrive!
Do you use bamboo that Pandas eat?
No way! We use a breed of bamboo that Pandas don't eat. We love our food, so we definitely wouldn't feel comfortable taking food away from beautiful Pandas!
Whats the difference between trees and bamboo?
Unlike trees, bamboo is a rapidly renewable resource for pulp. Bamboo can reach full height in just a few months, without the need for pesticides, herbicides or fertilisers.
